How Blink handles network information while running a speed test.
Last updated June 13, 2026
Information We Collect
Blink processes network information needed to run the service, including your IP address, internet provider, approximate city and country, and speed test measurements such as ping, download speed, upload speed, and jitter.
Blink does not provide user accounts and does not save your speed test results in an application database.
How We Use Information
Network information is used to display connection details and perform the speed test you request.
Blink does not sell your personal information or use it to build account profiles.
Sharing and Security
IP lookup requests may be processed by third-party network information services, including ipify and IPinfo, and hosting providers may process ordinary request logs.
We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your Choices
Because Blink has no accounts or saved result history, there is no account profile or result record to manage in the app.
You can contact the Blink support team with privacy questions.
